Future1's sister company Orbtalk are a leading Voice over IP provider based in the UK. Orbtalk provide both Voice over IP and TDM based telecoms solutions to businesses Worldwide over cable, DSL and leased line data connections. Customers range from businesses with 5 – 50 staff to far larger companies including multi-sited global corporates with up to 6000 staff around the world. In addition they provide Wholesale Voice over IP services such as Call Routing and Web based Billing services for many other UK and European service providers. The main focus is SIP Trunking for Cisco and Microsoft OCS platforms and a Hosted PBX service negating the need for expensive on-site equipment alongside Call Routing and VoIP Termination around the world. Orbtalk also operate an International Callshop platform and provide an International Numbering service allowing any company a presence in most major international cities. Services are operated from POP’s at 3 data centres in the UK (for full failover and redundancy) alongside New York and European switching centres.

Job Description: Orbtalk are looking for a candidate to provide responses to and manage technical and product queries primarily via telephone, email and using our internal bugtracking system to capture information and close issues accordingly. There will also be the opportunity to become involved with ongoing projects.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines are a must.

The position is full-time (37.5hrs per week), Monday to Friday, there is also opportunity to be involved with out of hours or flexible working hours after successful completion of the probation.

This exciting opportunity gives you the chance to use your excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills to handle a wide range of projects and issues, offering ongoing technical and administrative support following product delivery.

There is the opportunity to maintain an internal knowledgebase and get involved with website content management. The ideal candidate must be customer focused with a friendly and enthusiastic telephone manner, this is a varied role for flexible and enthusiastic self-starter.

Great prospects to expand this role within a small and dynamic company - may suit someone with Telecoms, IT experience or graduates.

Skills Range: Key skills - all or some useful but not essential:
Voice over IP
Hosted software
IT networking
Routers and IP routing
Cisco IP voice products
Process documentation
Linux and or Asterisk knowledge also useful but not essential
